PROFESSOR DOCTOR CHAIRUL ANWAR NIDOM 

      Professor Dr. Chairul Anwar Nidom, or better known as Professor Nidom, is one of the Professors of Airlangga University (Unair) in Surabaya, precisely as a lecturer in the Veterinary Science study program at Airlangga University, Surabaya and he is also the Chairperson of Professor Nidom's Corona & Vaccine Formulation Research Team Foundation. He is a native son of East Java, who was born in Pasuruan on March 8, 1958. Nidom is also one of the researchers in the field of bird flu owned by Indonesia. He studied this specialization at the University of Tokyo, Japan. And in 2015 he was the one who received the most publication awards.

       In 2003, Nidom received an offer from the Department of Agriculture to be part of the National Poultry Disease Research team. The research team was formed to find out why the number of poultry deaths in Indonesia could be uncontrolled.  From his research, it was known that the cause of death of poultry in Indonesia was a type of bird flu virus originating from Guangdong, China.  Not only that in 2010 he had also found research results on Reassortment between avian H5N1 and human H3N2 influenza viruses creating hybrid viruses with substantial virulence, Efficacy of the new neuraminidase inhibitor CS-8958 against H5N1 influenza viruses, and Sensitivity of influenza rapid diagnostic tests to H5N1 and 2009 pandemic H1N1 viruses and in 2011 he also managed to find out about Virological surveillance of human influenza in Indonesia. With the discovery that made his name known to the public, even at the world level.  Not only that. Now his name has come back to the surface after it was reportedly found an antidote to the corona virus.

       Prof.  Dr.  Chairul Anwar Nidom, who is a researcher who succeeded in formulating the antidote for the virus, said that the discovery process did not require a long time.  Previously, in 2006-2007 Prof. Dr.  Chairul Anwar Nidom said that he had studied cases of  bird flu virus infection which had almost the same impact as the corona virus (COVID-19).  In previous studies, Prof.  Dr.  Chairul Anwar Nidom found that the active ingredient curcumin could ward off infection with the virus.  Therefore Prof.  Dr.  Chairul Anwar Nidom said, when the world was shocked by corona virus infection, Prof.  Dr.  Chairul Anwar Nidom found similarities with the virus that he examined previously and succeeded in formulating the curcumin plant as a powerful antidote to the virus.

       Then on March 2, 2020, the Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Bilogy at Airlangga University revealed the findings of this discovery, the antidote to the corona virus or COVID-19 from curcuma or spice extract.  The virus can be prevented by consuming Curcumin plants.  Curcumin plant itself in the form of ginger, ginger, lemongrass, turmeric and the like. With daily use of both curcumin plant foods and drinks can increase antibodies and strengthen body cells.  While waiting for the right formulation.  At that time Professor Nidom said that people do not need to panic and stress even though there have been positive cases of corona in Indonesia, because it can make the immune system or immune system decline.  Because basically, increasing the body's immunity is the most effective way to avoid the corona virus.

    From various studies he has carried out until now he is known as a researcher who works diligently, sincerely and never give up in finding formulas or new discoveries about various types of viruses, especially types of avian influenza viruses that can harm living things, both regarding how to prevent or cure it.
